Rare 19thc. Staffordshire Crimean figure of two sailors. R/H sailor stands with right hand raised to his hat, his left leg on a platform and his right foot raised on a gun. The other sailor kneels on his left knee, with his left arm resting on a gun and his right arm ramming a shell into its muzzle. Thomas Parr pottery. circa 1850's
